A Fast Card and now to celebrate!!

This week has been a bit stressfull around the house trying to  juggle everyone's schedules.
I needed a quickie card and found the perfect supplies... Bo Bunny "Celebrate" papers along with Unity stamps!!  All I needed to do was add some twine and a bit of stickles and it was done!  Off to

Just Twinkle!

Wow!  I almost forgot it was Friday! 
This was the last week of school before summer vacation in our area and it seems like there was lots to do.  I have three older boys who range from 31 to 23 and then a large gap and another boy who will be going into 5th grade.  We have seen lots of last weeks of school but for some reason this week was busier than those past.
I managed to steal a few moments this afternoon to create this card for Unity's FWF.

Summer Sunflowers....FWF

Another hurried week around our house this week, but I keeping to my "vow" to do the Unity FWF every week!
This one was done late last night and didn't turn out as I had hoped but I am sure that it will make someone's day when it is sent.
I am really using a lot of the little "hang tags" made from my stamps from Unity!  I hope they make more of them with more sayings. ;) ;)  They are the perfect touch to add to a card when it needs a little somethin'!

Black and White Friday!

It has been a busy week around here and I must admit I was not prepared for FWF today.
I sort of made a resolution to try and do all Fridays... it is something that I can do to take time for myself.  I ran into the scrap room this morning and decided I wanted to do something simple. 
I found this piece of Bo Bunny dotted cardstock laying on my desk and thought,  "What is more simple than black and white?".   I grabbed my unity stamps that were laying there also waiting to find their new home in my storage and voila'!  I added a bit of sparkle to the wish sticks and I really love the way it turned out!  Thanks so much for looking!  Have a great weekend!

On a Card Kick...

I have been in and out of my scrap studio a lot the past week.  I never seem to have "enough" time to accomplish anything BIG on my "to do" list.  I decided that if I would be starting and stopping so much this week, it would be more simple to do smaller projects. 
Cards... the perfect smaller project.  They are just so handy to have around ... be it to give several tied with a bow for a hostess gift or to just use myself.   I have been totally in love with my unity stamps.  I throw them together with a few scraps that I have laying around on my desk from previous layout designs... and there you have it .. super cute cards!

Happy Friday All! Happy FWF!!
It sure has been a busy week around here. I am ready for the weekend to finally arive tomorrow to spend some family time with my guys.  :)
I made a few cards this week to replenish my card collection.  They are all pretty simple ... when you have great stamps... you don't need tons of other stuff!
I had loads of fun with the butterfly card.  I used the photo turn and bent a piece of wire for the antennas.  I rarely used butterflies in the past but they really are starting to "grow" on me. 
I loved the layering of the stamps and inks on the second card... and the last card... what can I say? 
It is just too cute!

A Few Cards from This Week and Last!

I created a few cards this week and last using Unity Stamps.  I was going to post a few last week for FWF....... but as luck would have it my monitor ended up going out last Friday morning!  I had them all ready to go and had to wait for the new screen to arrive!..Lol.. I hate computer issues ...

The flower card above turned out so cute!  You really can't see the stickles that I had added to some of the petals.  It was so pretty.

 Remember those little gift enclosures?  I had a request to make a few.  This stamp from unity was the perfect fit for a 3 x 3 card.  I added a dot of "bling" to each towel.  They turned out so cute!

This sentiment was perfect for a baby card!  Loved it!  The leftover hexies were from a layout I completed and were just taking up space on my desk!

Loved this masculine graduation card.  You can never have too many of these at this time of the year!

Loving the Neutrals in this Bo Bunny!

Have you ever seen a line of papers where you were "on the fence" as far as purchasing it?  This line was one of those for me.  I think the final  thing that pushed me "over the edge" was because I loved the green and brown so much.
I just want to say.. or shout... I AM SO GLAD I DID!! I am loving this line.  beautiful colors...
I was also thinking to myself as I was putting these two simple layouts together ..."The neutrals in these papers, will go with just about any photos!".

Monday Monday!

Here is a fun little layout that is super simple to whip up!  I enjoyed playing with the Echo Park For the Record 2 "Documented" Line.  The papers were great to work with. They can easily be used for just about any theme.   The blues, yellows, and greens in the paper collection were beautiful!  (Much better than my photo shows) I added one of the fun little Maya Road Chipboard frames from the store, painted it added a few stickers and buttons and voila'!

More Card Inspiration....

Well my Mother left for home yesterday.  While she was here she had asked to add to her card collection.  I pulled out my Unity Stamps and stamped quite a few images for her to take
home to "Play" with.  She even asked where I had gotten the stamps so she might order a few.
The ones above are a few left over stamped images from the batch I had made with her. I just loved the Bo Bunny Birthday Papers I used in the Birthday card.  I had picked those up from Scrapbook Doodle online.....but..... You know me....... I "just had" to finish them up so my desk was clean....lol ;).....besides... I think a few of those may just come in handy in the upcoming month!  :)

Frazzled?!!

My mother is visiting from the east coast for a few weeks.  Here are a couple of the cards i created using this Wonderful Unity stamp.  LOL!  I told my hubby that it was a "self" portrait of me .. or at least how I have been feeling with guests in our bitty house... As always.. Thanks for looking!

Time for a Card Break!

It has been crazy busy around our house this week.  Airport runs, new central heating unit installation, hair appointments... last night right before I went to bed I thought.. "OH!"  I need a card for FWF tomorrow!  I grabbed some scraps.. (my favorite thing to use for cards..if you didn't know by now ;)  ) and I sat down and did a few moments at my scrap desk.  Voila'.. It was super easy.. and almost better than a "Calgon.. take me away" moment!

Valentine Bookmark

I wanted to make something for the ladies in my group at our Wednesday night Bible Study. This bookmark was fast and quick. They were made with Echo Park Paper and one of my beloved Unity Stamps! 
 My cell phone camera is not the greatest but I forgot to snap a photo at home before I left. They all were super surprised and  loved them!

Since I have been playing with Jillibean Soup's "Macho Nacho" line all week... Why not use up the scraps?
I had so much fun playing with these two stamp sets from Unity.   When you use them on cards they always seem to make people smile!   :)

On the "Just Because" card I "popped" they eyes off of the owl itself and lifted the arms  What fun!
I just love these stamps!

I was looking through a folder in my studio and came upon a package of paper from Jillibean Soup.  It was their "Macho Nacho" line of papers.  You know me I am always ready for a challenge! 
I created this one page layout.  I must admit I love the colors in this line that can be found at scrapbook doodle.com :)

A layout a day...

Well a layout a day... won't keep the dr. away...
But they are really fun to create!..

Our house has been fun the past few days.. from kennel cough to the flu..
then a flooded garage.. AGAIN!.. and it didn't even rain!!

Another fun card!

I finished off my Valentine's Card day yesterday by making a simple but sweet "Happy Birthday" card.  I just had to try out this stamp from Unity  that was staring at me!.. LOL!!  I added a few scraps and voila!  I must admit I am "hooked" on their rubber!
I loved it!
